b38bc-coollogo_com-221351400After spending one life-changing day in Paris with laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter, sheltered American good girl Allyson “Lulu” Healey discovered her new lover had disappeared without a trace. Just One Day followed Allyson’s quest to reunite with Willem; Just One Year chronicled the pair’s year apart from Willem’s perspective. Now, back together at last, this delectable e-novella reveals the couple’s final chapter.

029c6-coollogo_com-9181998I was really excited about this novella because the first two books end on the same cliffhanger. We finally got to see what happened after Willem and Allyson met again!

There were some really great developments in the night after they meet. They both catch up, talk about what they had been doing since the day, and went to watch Willem’s second show at the play. One thing that I really loved was how they are both coming to the US! That made me really happy.

While I liked this novella (which was actually told from third person POV), I didn’t like the direction it took. In the first two books, I had some problems with the romance feeling too insta-lovey and it just continued with this novella. There is a lot of physical romance stuff happening in this novella, where I would have liked more emotional. And it took place over just one night – which isn’t really a ton of time.

Overall, I liked having this look at what happened. While I didn’t like what happened, I think it followed both of their stories well.
