Emily’s reconnecting with an old flame, one baby step at a time. But is she headed toward true love or another bundle of heartache? Spencer’s learning about the highs and lows of campus life on a trip to Princeton. Aria’s seeing a whole new side to Noel’s dad—and it could drive a wedge between her and Noel. And, for better or worse, Hanna’s getting in touch with her inner A.

Secret by secret, lie by lie, the girls get tangled in A’s dangerous web. Soon A will have enough ammunition to pull the trigger and end the pretty little liars, once and for all….

Wow…that book was a whole lot of nothing. Seriously, trying to write this is going to be hard. I have no idea what I’m going to talk about right now.

The cover is really pretty. It’s probably my favorite of the PLL covers. The light pink and navy combination is gorgeous.

Let’s talk about the girls individually!

Aria: Noel Kahn’s dad is a crossdresser. So she breaks up with him because A threatens to release the picture. And it turns out that Noel knew this entire time and it really wasn’t that dramatic at all. Seriously. That was a waste of a plot line. I mean…I guess it’s okay but I don’t know why we didn’t get this sooner in this series. It’s like we are fishing for dramatic things to happen now.

Spencer: Should be in jail by now. Seriously. This is probably like, what, her fourth time with illegal drugs? And still, other people continue to get blamed and arrested for it. Also, who the heck would think that a potluck means putting pot in all the food? For a rich, Princeton student, she has absolutely no intelligence about society.

Hanna: Is stalking Colleen, Mike’s new girlfriend. But Mike loved her all along. Now, I’m mostly okay with this because I ship Mike and Hanna very hard, but once again, WE HAVE NO NEW INFORMATION.

Emily: had a child. Gave the child away. Illegally. There’s some really weird drama with the adoptive parents that I think is both illegal and highly implausible. But whatever. It was the only good thing about the story. Also, yay for the return of Emily and Isaac.

Overall, we just reenforced the fact that Aria is way too overdramatic, Spencer is a drug addict, Hanna is obsessed with Mike, and Emily, well, may be the only interesting character at this point. But, don’t worry, I’m sure she will fix that in the next book. Who else is expecting more impossible baby information? (I still can’t get over that she had a child in like, five months. How is that biologically possible???)

So there we go – yet another Pretty Little Liars book has passed. It’s a good thing these books are so short and literally take me an hourish to read. Otherwise, I would have given up a long time ago. But, I’ll continue on with this ever-expanding series.
